Editor's Note: Savouring every bit for all.

Being someone who occasionally spends a tad extravagantly on food and beverages, I admit I am always on the lookout for new and flavourful delights around me whenever possible.

It is already a challenge to keep a look out for really scrumptious food that is worth every penny you pay nowadays but bringing the knowledge of it, or knowledge on the greatest delicacies in the universe to life is way above it.

Coming together as a team of five, my group and i have great differences amongst us, but the one common denominator that brings us, and you, our readers, together is our love for food, or at least how the consumption of food is essential to our survival.

As a group of Singapore Polytechnic students pursuing our third and final year in the Diploma in Media and Communication, we are proud to have created Garnish Magazine.

No matter what kind of individual you are; one who who lives to eat or one who eats to live, food plays a huge part in our daily lives, secondary to water of course.

In our upcoming issue, we will be bringing you various points of view, highlighting unique issues such as the dying hawker scene, the farming culture and even the creation of accessories inspired by food all based in this sunny island we call home, Singapore.
